Canada Day Dragon Boating

Organized and hosted by the Lethbridge Leftovers, with the support of DASA members. Weather permitting.

Dragon boat volunteers assist the Lethbridge Leftovers in taking the community public out on the dragon boats for a quick paddle around the lake. Experienced paddlers, steers and coaches are needed as most public paddlers have never been on a dragon boat. Adults coming out get a pfd, paddle and a quick lesson. Children get a child-sized pfd, and a water gun to be ‘pirates’. On-land and dock support is also appreciated.
