DASA On Water Steering Clinic

These clinics are an opportunity for the Festival Steers to practice their skills and hone their talents. Volunteer paddlers are also very much needed… we can’t steer an empty boat! Please sign up as a volunteer paddler here!

This is a great opportunity to get some uncoached practice time and remember what it feels like to be in a dragon boat. Whole teams can sign up together (can you say unofficial free team practice?!), or individuals are always welcome.

No equipment is necessary, but some basic to advanced dragon boat paddling skills are essential. Remember, this is uncoached, so is not suitable to someone who has never been in a dragon boat and/or does not know the basics of the stroke and timing.
