LRDBF Festival Practices

  • Practices are run by volunteers with the Dragonboat Association of Southern Alberta
  • Each race category comes with a certain number of practices, and crews have purchased more. With the high number of local crews (a great problem to have!) the sessions filled up quickly
  • If you know you will not have enough paddlers, please let the race director know so that we can release the practice for others looking to book in! Typically a minimum of 10 -14 paddlers are required – depending on the weather and the dock marshall’s decision.
  • Practice reminders will be sent out on Sunday’s noting steers and drums
  • Be sure arrive 30 minutes before practice to get equipment and find your team
  • Parking is at a premium. Do not leave your valuables in your vehicle!
